You can now order Deliveroo in Tunbridge Wells parks

Deliveroo has stepped-up its Tunbridge Wells operation by introducing a delivery service to town parks.

It means customers can order a meal from selected restaurants through the website or app and receive hot food half an hour later.

The new service was introduced last week in Tunbridge Wells as part of a UK-wide summer promotion.

Deliveroo spokesman Joe Groves said: ‘Deliveroo is determined to make this summer as relaxing and enjoyable for customers as possible.

‘That’s why we’re delivering to parks. So now you don’t have to sacrifice your spot in the sun to enjoy some of the best summer food and drink.’

Some of the 40 Tunbridge Wells eateries customers can order from include Zizi, ASK Italian, Pret a Manger and Sankey’s.

Last year, Deliveroo recorded a 400 per cent growth in Tunbridge Wells.

The firm uses self-employed motorbike and bike riders to make deliveries and last year tripled its Kent fleet to 200 of these contractors.
