Tasty treats to celebrate British Sandwich Week

It’s British Sandwich Week, and because we’re really dedicated to our jobs, we went around Tunbridge Wells tasting bready treats for your benefit

The Daily Bread’s dirty bacon sandwich, £4.75

Not your average bacon sarnie, this breakfast delight contains home-smoked bacon and mustard butter, all encased in homemade bread. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day after all

The Cake Shed’s prawn star, £5.95

This seafood delight is served in tomato & basil bread while the prawns are dressed in a lemon, garlic and black pepper mayonnaise. On the side you get bloody Mary ketchup too, which is insanely delicious.

SEVENTEEN at One Warwick Park’s chicken club sandwich, £7.95

This sandwich comes fully stacked with, chicken, bacon, tomato, lettuce, mayonnaise oh and you also get triple cooked chips for good measure.

Javabean’s chicken schnitzel sandwich, £5.75

Served warm with chicken schnitzel, cheese, lettuce and a herb mayo this sandwich is one of our favourite lunchtime treats.

CAU’s fish tacos, £6.45

Okay, we know these aren’t strictly a sandwich but they’re so good they deserve a mention. Wrapped in a corn tortilla you’ll find battered Pollock, chipotle mayo, peppers and pico de gallo.

Woods’ open steak sandwich, £11.95

Not an easy one to pick up and munch on in the park, but delicious nonetheless – this sandwich comprises sirloin steak strips, field mushrooms, wholegrain mustard mayonnaise, rocket and is served with fries too.

Ketts Kitchen

Ketts is the friendly sandwich delivery man you may have seen at your office each day. We can’t pick just one of his awesome, freshly-prepared sandwiches, but we can tell you that a certain member of our office has a serious Ketts cheese and pickle addiction.
