Featured Book – The Cottage Kitchen: Cozy Cooking in the English Countryside

Tattinger is a great choice for Mother's Day

If there’s one place you don’t expect a cookbook on English countryside cooking to come from, it’s Norway, but Marte Marie Forsberg’s Scandinavian twists to indulgent classics is just the ticket for this time of year.

Born and raised on an island off the coast of Norway, Forsberg grew up simply, learning the arts of gardening, foraging, and cooking from her talented and resourceful mother. Once on a trip to London, she felt a yearning to see the English countryside. Instantly inspired by the rolling meadows and charming cottages, she began her popular blog My Cottage Kitchen featuring recipes that would feel right at home in Kent.

With recipes to cover all the seasons, we’re big fans of the Norwegian Waffles with Strawberries and Sour Cream (trust us, it works!) and are particularly looking forward to trying Forsberg’s recipe for Prosecco Scones.

Once you see the sumptuous photography throughout, you’ll be a true convert to this Anglo-Scandinavian fusion.

Forsberg’s book, The Cottage Kitchen: Cooking in the English Countryside is available now on Amazon.
