This week is full of live music. Tonight [Wednesday] you can catch popular local acts Rob Picazo, Arcelia, Steffan James and The Breretons at The Grey Lady, while the Lyrae Duo are at The Trading Post. On Thursday, the superb Project 5 play Jazz on The Pantiles.

Friday night includes The Skatonics at The Forum, Sophie Mullan and Acoustic Atlas at The Beau Nash, guitarist and singer Stuart Evans at The Spa Hotel, Blues Brothers Little Brothers at The Grey Lady and Bombay Monkey at St John’s Yard.

On Saturday night you can catch Sean Fennessey & Friends at The Bedford and Spoilage at The Royal Oak. Also, The Weight of Atlas are at The Sussex Arms Basement, while G.E.M return to The Beau Nash for a whole day’s worth of funky tunes.

Alex Wallace and Carl Quinn headline at St John’s Yard alongside Kung Fu Slipper. It’s also the final fundraiser at Trinity Theatre for August’s Local & Live Festival, with Orfila, Shep Sheperd and my orchestra.

On Sunday, The Grey Lady welcomes Emily Izen Row, Imy Lawrie, Emanuel Fanthome-Hodgson and Jack Knight. For fans of Neil Diamond, there is a great tribute act at The Assembly Hall.

The music continues at St John’s Yard from lunchtime till late with We are Bandicoot, Jem & Paul, TW3, Holly Stanford, James Mcmaster, Robyn Turl and Chris Parris.
