We may be heading towards late July, but the local music scene shows no signs of slowing down for the summer.
My recommendations this week include popular local acts The Pioneers, Matt Falloon and headliners Hey Zeus performing at The Grey Lady tonight [Wednesday].
Also tonight, the talented Mike Wilton (of The Standard Lamps) is at The Sussex Arms Basement.
And on Thursday, the renowned Vince Dunn Orchestra headline Jazz on The Pantiles.
My top pick for Friday night is the Metallica Reloaded show at The Forum – considered one of the world’s leading Metallica tribute acts.
On Saturday night you can catch The Nigel Bagge Band at The Beau Nash Tavern and The Cockroaches at The Royal Oak pub.
Close out the weekend in style with some local acoustic music at The Grey Lady on Sunday night with local singer/songwriter Jono Harrison, who will be supported by Katy Virgoe, Leanie Kaleido and Danny Bridle.
On Tuesday night, the excellent Ron Trueman-Border & The Strangers will be at The Punch & Judy in Tonbridge, and look out for local band Infrared who will be headlining at The Grey Lady, supported by virtuoso guitarist and singer Saiichi Sugiyama.
