Bewl Water’s popular children’s camps are on once again for the summer holidays. There will be a fun floral crafting session entitled Blooming Marvellous running from 10am until 1.30pm at the Hub in Grosvenor & Hilbert Park today. The fundraising team for Guide Dogs’ Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells branch are holding their summer fete at Tonbridge Castle today. According to the organisers it promises to be a great day out for the family, with many traditional stalls, a raffle and a football shootout as well as a fun dog show and special display from the Medway Guide Dog puppy team. Closer to home, the ever popular annual Pantiles Vintage Fair is back this weekend. On today and tomorrow, it’s a must visit for anyone who’s a fan of retro fashion, unique buys to enhance your home and collectable items, including rare books and vintage cars.
There’s another weekend of jousting at Hever Castle to enjoy. Visitors are welcome to see ‘Henry VIII’ and ‘Anne Boleyn’ and watch the Knights of Royal England battle it out on horseback. Entrance is free with the normal admission price. See www.hevercastle.co.uk
Staying at Hever, there’s a Tudor Tales event on all this weekend, too. Families are invited to step back in time and experience what life was like when English swordsmen ruled the battlefield. Sunday
The Tunbridge Wells Museum & Art Gallery is now exhibiting Staffages: 2018 – a collection of photographic works which highlights the connections between museum object, site and viewer. The work, by the artist Steffi Klenz, is the result of her having spent time at the venue looking at its artefacts and architecture. The exhibition runs until Sunday September 8.
During the summer months, Penshurst Place will be hosting a fun day of activities every Sunday, which includes falconry displays courtesy of The Hawking Centre. And Aardvark Productions make a welcome return to entertain children and adults alike with their pantomimes, with a brand new panto in the garden. This year, Mr Toad learns the importance of banning plastic and how important it is to look after the environment. There will also be lots of crafting to keep you busy.

Monday
The free photographic exhibition entitled Remarkable Characters of Tunbridge Wells is still on at Woods on The Pantiles. On until September, it is the brainchild of photographer Mark Wilkinson and writer Anne Wagstaff, who have a ‘curiosity about people and what makes them tick.’ There are 40 portraits in total of the area’s most ‘remarkable characters’.

Tuesday
There will be another floral crafting session at the Hub in Grosvenor & Hilbert Park today between 10am and 4pm, which will be fun for youngsters. If you go along to this drop-in event you will have the opportunity to make your own flower crowns using the park’s wild flowers and willows. Each session lasts 90 minutes and costs £4 per child. Trinity Theatre will be screening a live exhibition of Vincent Van Gogh’s most famous works at 8pm. The virtual exhibition showcases Van Gogh’s iconic works and features exclusive interviews with the curatorial team at the Van Gogh Museum. Tickets cost £11 per person.
