TONIGHT [Wednesday], you can catch popular local acts Gronk, Alex Metcalfe, Night Without Sleep and The Naming of Things all performing at The Grey Lady.

And on Thursday night, world-renowned saxophonist Derek Nash headlines Jazz on The Pantiles with Unit 7.

My top picks for Friday night include The Indie Disco at The Forum and popular local guitarist and singer Steffan James returning to The Castle Inn at Chiddingstone.

The weekend features many excellent local pop/rock groups in action, and on Saturday night you can catch Will Whisson at The Royal Oak pub, Rooster Tail at The Beau Nash Tavern, and The Violet Jive headline at The Grey Lady.

On Sunday afternoon, I highly recommend the Unfest Sessions at The Forum, and local singer-songwriters Niamh McSmith, Fred Clark and Will Watson will all be at The Grey Lady.

Looking ahead to next week, folk fans can enjoy the excellent Border Crossing at the Tonbridge Folk Club on Monday night, and the superb Heyzeus will be at The Punch & Judy pub in Tonbridge on Tuesday. The Grey Lady Music Lounge
