Young people wanted for some Elite training

Elite Leisure Collection, which owns One Warwick Park Hotel, Salomons Estate, Bewl Water and One Media UK Ltd – publisher of the Times – was orignally formed in 2008 under the name Markerstudy Leisure. It employs over 80 full and part time staff across West Kent & East Sussex.

Due to continued growth the group says it is launching a programme aimed at both graduates and school leavers looking for a career in hospitality.

The fully paid 12-week programme is aimed at individuals looking for a career in hospitality but who are not sure which area to specialise in.

The group says it is looking for 12 ‘hardworking and passionate hospitality stars of the future’ to begin the programme in 2022.

The successful applicants will work and train in a range of hospitality roles from guest relations and operations to housekeeping.

Previous entrants to the Elite Leisure training programme have gone to land successful careers at the company.

Zoe Ward, currently a receptionist at Salomons Estate run by the group, took part in the last programme run by the company.

She said: “I joined Elite Leisure when I recently graduated and wanted to pursue a career in hospitality, the induction, ongoing training and support has been great.

“Having passed my probation, I’m now on a development program within the company to give me the skills and knowledge to move into a supervisor role. I love being part of the team.”
