Water complaints rise four years running

The main water supplier for Tunbridge Wells has seen the number of complaints against it rise to twice the industry average over the past year.

Southern Water had the highest number of customer complaints across the country for the fourth straight year, according to a report by the Consumer Council for Water.

The firm saw a ten per cent increase in written grievances over the last year, rising to more than 77 complaints per 10,000 connections, double the industry average.
