Audrey Williams, who runs The English Beagle, an online fashion and homeware boutique, spotted a pair of her leggings she had made when HRH Princess Eugenie posted a picture of her baby boy on her Mother’s Day.

August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, the newest addition to the royal family, was born on February 9.

On Mother’s Day [Sunday, March 14] Eugenie posted a photo of August on Instagram, with the baby lying on a blanket outdoors, wearing a pair of leggings designed and manufactured by Audrey.

Audrey told the Times: “I was scrolling through Instagram and I saw Princess Eugenie had posted a picture of her baby online.

“I was shocked and incredibly flattered to see that baby August was dressed in pair of my leggings from The English Beagle.”

On the Instagram post, which has been liked by more than 250,000 times, the Princess also posted a photo of her as a baby being held by her mother Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York.

Accompanying the photos, Eugenie wrote: “I’m so excited to be August’s mum and as you can see I’m enjoying my first Mother’s Day.

“I’m also celebrating my beautiful Mumma with this picture of us from March 1990. You’ve taught me so much.”

Since the post, Audrey, who was featured in So Magazine in December, says she has been inundated with enquiries for people who had seen the baby wear.

She said: “I have had enquiries from overseas and had people contact me from all over the place.

“It is such a boost as a small, independent business owner to see a member of the royal family in something you have made. I am absolutely delighted.”
