A new Starbucks store, is set to open opposite the war memorial in Tunbridge Wells on Tuesday June 26.
The store is located where the old Priory Tea Rooms were throughout the 1940s and 1950s, serving cream teas and coffee to the local community.
To celebrate the opening, the store team will be hosting coffee and food tasting sessions throughout the day.
Michael Bradley, Managing Director at Cobra Coffee who are franchise partners of Starbucks, said: ‘We’re so excited to be reopening our doors to a new Starbucks store in the heart of Royal Tunbridge Wells. After spending some time looking for the perfect site for a fresh look store, we really think we’ve found the ideal spot. With the brilliant coffee culture that the town already has, we can’t wait to welcome new faces and old friends”.
The previous Starbucks store was based on Calverley Road and closed its doors last October.
