New woodland wellbeing centre to open

RECOGNITION: Sonja Drew, MBE

A unique woodland wellbeing centre to reduce stress and increase productivity of Kent’s workforce is to open on the outskirts of Tonbridge.

Nature’s Gym, which incorporates both indoor and outdoor health and wellbeing solutions, is a purpose-built facility within the grounds of Kingdom, a 13-acre woodland site in Penshurst.

Nature’s Gym is the brainchild of Pip Lawrence, from Paddock Wood, co-founder of DayOne Wellness and a recent winner in the 2018 Inspiring Wellbeing Awards.

Pip (28) and her team of coaches are passionate about simplifying wellbeing so you can live your best life for the longest. This includes making small, but significant, changes to diet, fitness and lifestyle habits.

Nature’s Gym is a converted shipping container, clad in timber with an industrial finish inside revealing a fully functional personal training studio. Kingdom’s main clubhouse houses a wholefoods cafe, panoramic yoga studio/ workshop space and a picturesque decking area to enjoy the views. Both Nature’s gym and Kingdom are being unveiled at a special business breakfast on Wednesday April 18.

The event is for primarily for proactive businesses and forward-thinking HR officers who want to build a peak-performance culture – and there is still time to apply for tickets. Visit www.dayonewellness.co.uk/natures-gym/
