The redevelopment of the old Kent and Sussex Hospital site has been shortlisted for the 2016 Kent Design and Development Awards.
Royal Wells Park, by the Berkeley Group, is a multi-stage project that will eventually see 190 private homes, including 53 classed as affordable, built alongside the new location of Cripps law firm and the Wells Free School – a primary school which is already open.
The judges’ site visits are under way, with the winners to be announced in December.
