Rusthall condiments company Salter’s has been nominated for an award by one of the of largest, most recognised associations in the food and drink industry.

The firm, which is known for its ‘Must Chup’ sauce (a cross between mustard and ketchup), has been entered into the Regional Growth Business category for the South East at the 2016 Food and Drink Federation Awards on September 22.

Created by Tunbridge Wells twins Mark and Andrew Salter in 2013, the sauce comes in three flavours: Original, Kick and Big Kick, each denoting a level of hotness.

Andrew Salter said: “We are very excited to be nominated at this prestigious awards evening, which includes the likes of Coca-Cola and Cadbury’s. This will be great exposure for our business.”
